OEM/ODM on the 13.3" 1000nits Platform: One Factory, Every Stage of the Display
For engineers, procurement managers, and project leads sourcing a display partner — not just a panel
The HT133FHD-1000 (13.3", 1920×1080, 1000 nits) is rarely deployed as a bare panel. By the time it reaches an EV charger, a construction-machinery cab, or a self-service kiosk, it usually needs a different brightness tier, a touch stack, a custom housing, and firmware branding — work that's normally split across several vendors. HITULCD keeps that entire scope inside one factory, under one quality system, so the panel you qualify is the panel you actually receive in volume.
1. Customization That Goes Well Beyond Brightness
Starting from this platform, we support full-spectrum OEM/ODM modification, not just a brightness bump:
Resolution: HD, FHD, 2K, and 4K options for sharper image density where your application needs it
Brightness: adjustable from 500 to 5000 nits, so the same base platform can be tuned from indoor kiosk use up to direct sunlight
Interface: HDMI, DP, VGA, eDP, LVDS, MIPI, USB, RS232, RJ45 — matched to your control board, not the other way around
Touch & cover glass: PCAP or resistive touch, with AR/AG coating or IK-rated impact protection
Structure: open-frame for embedded integration, or fully housed with CNC-machined metal enclosures for rugged deployment
Each of these is a configuration option on a platform we already manufacture — not a one-off engineering exercise every time a spec changes.
2. Sourced from Tier-1 Glass, Built and Tested In-House
We work directly with major LCD glass manufacturers — including LG, AU Optronics, BOE, Innolux, Tianma, and CSOT — for the panel itself, then handle bonding, touch integration, housing assembly, and reliability testing on our own production floor. That split matters: the glass supply chain is where global-scale panel makers add value, but the integration, customization, and quality control that actually determine whether your project ships on time sit with us, under direct engineering oversight — not a subcontractor three steps removed from your drawing.
3. Branding and Software, Not Just Hardware
For customers taking this to market under their own name, we handle boot logo and UI customization, firmware integration, private-label packaging, custom boxes, manuals, and labeling — the parts of an ODM project that determine whether the finished product reads as "your brand" or "a screen with your logo stuck on it."
4. Built for the Environments This Panel Actually Ends Up In
The 13.3" platform is already deployed across transportation (bus/subway information displays, EV central control), new energy (charging-pile HMI, inverter monitoring), industrial and engineering machinery (forklift and construction-cab HMI), and rugged/field equipment (surveying terminals, drone ground stations). Our customization process — brightness, housing, touch, interface — is built around what these deployment environments actually demand, not adapted afterward from a consumer-display baseline.
5. Certified and Proven for Export Markets
CE, FCC, RoHS, ISO 9001, and IP65 protection are standard on this platform, backed by 100% pre-shipment inspection and over a decade of export experience across US, EU, and Japanese markets. For a procurement team validating a new supplier, the compliance groundwork for a CE-marked or FCC-compliant end product is already in place — not something to chase down mid-project.
6. Scale for Both Prototyping and Volume
Fast prototyping and sample delivery, flexible MOQ adjustment by project, and 5+ years of lifecycle supply support mean the same engineering team that turns around your first sample also holds your production schedule for the life of your product — no re-qualification with a different factory when you move from pilot to volume.
What This Means for Your Project
One drawing review, one quality system, one supplier accountable for resolution, brightness, touch, housing, firmware, and reliability — instead of coordinating a panel broker, a touch integrator, a housing shop, and a test lab separately.
Next Step
Send us your target specification — resolution, brightness, interface, touch requirement, housing constraint — and we'll return a feasibility assessment and quotation directly from our engineering team.
Custom Shape-Cutting Service for the 13.3" 1000nits Industrial LCD Panel (HT133FHD-1000)
For engineers, procurement managers, and project leads evaluating a non-standard panel size
The HT133FHD-1000 (1920×1080, eDP interface, VESA mount) is a common starting point for customers who need a trimmed or reshaped panel to fit an existing HMI, kiosk, or vehicle-cab enclosure. Below is what our engineering team typically walks OEM/ODM customers through before, during, and after a custom-cutting project on this panel.
1. Process Feasibility: Can This Panel Be Cut the Way You Need?
Cutting method. Depending on your target dimension, tolerance, and how close the cut-line sits to the active area, we recommend either mechanical wheel scribing (lower cost, suited to straight-line trims with looser tolerance) or ultra-fast laser cutting (tighter tolerance, cleaner edge, required near the Gate/Source driving circuitry or for notched/curved profiles). At 1920×1080 resolution the pixel pitch is fine enough that cut-line placement relative to the active area matters more than on a lower-resolution panel — this is one of the first things our engineers check.
Circuit clearance check. Before quoting, our engineers map your requested cut-line against the HT133FHD-1000's Gate/Source trace layout and TFT array boundary to confirm the cut won't interrupt active circuitry or eDP signal integrity. To run this check quickly, please send us:
A dimensioned drawing (DWG/DXF preferred) of the target outline, referenced to the panel's existing datum/origin
The mounting or bezel constraint driving the cut (the standard bezel is 6/6/6/6mm, so we can flag early if your target dimension eats into that margin)
Any keep-out zone your enclosure requires
Edge finish standard. After cutting, edges are inspected against our internal flatness and micro-crack tolerance before proceeding to sealing. Panels with crack propagation beyond spec are rejected at this stage — they do not move forward to sealing or final assembly.
2. Reliability After Cutting: Will the Sealed Edge Hold Up?
Sealing process. A cut edge exposes the panel to moisture ingress and liquid-crystal leakage risk. We apply a secondary sealing step — typically UV-cure edge dispensing — matched to the cut-line geometry, to restore a moisture and leakage barrier along the new edge.
Reliability testing. Cut-and-sealed samples go through the same reliability program as our standard product line, scaled to industrial-grade requirements given the HT133FHD-1000's -20°C to +70°C operating range: double-85 (85°C/85%RH) high-temperature/humidity soak, thermal shock cycling, and structural drop testing. We're glad to share pass/fail benchmark data from comparable prior cutting projects on request — this is usually the fastest way for a customer's reliability engineer to sign off internally.
Optical performance at the cut edge. The main risk at a modified edge is light leakage or Mura (color shift/unevenness) near the new border, usually from backlight scatter or uneven sealant thickness. We inspect every cut sample under standard viewing conditions before it's approved for sign-off, and flag any edge-zone Mura before you see the sample.
3. Cost, Yield, and Lead Time: What to Budget and Expect
NRE and sampling. Custom cutting carries an NRE (non-recurring engineering) cost that varies with cut complexity — a straight trim is priced differently from a laser-cut notch near active circuitry. A first sample run (commonly ~20 pcs) typically takes a defined number of weeks from drawing confirmation to sample shipment; we provide an exact quote and timeline once we've reviewed your drawing, rather than a generic figure that won't reflect your actual cut geometry.
Mass production expectations. Yield in volume production depends on cut-line proximity to the active area and the tightness of your dimensional tolerance — simpler trims run close to standard-panel yield, while cuts near circuitry carry a wider range. We share realistic yield expectations, not best-case numbers, once we've reviewed your specific geometry, along with the MOQ that applies to your custom spec (note: custom cutting can shift MOQ upward from our standard 1-unit minimum — this is confirmed at the quotation stage, before any deposit).
Next Step
Send us your target outline drawing and mounting constraint, and we'll return a feasibility assessment, recommended cutting method, and a sampling quote — usually within a few business days.
