1. Cutting Process & Feasibility Assessment

Trace and active-area clearanceBefore confirming feasibility, we map the intended cut line against the panel's Gate/Source driver traces and TFT array boundary to confirm no interference with signal routing. This is standard practice for all stretched-bar customizations, not an extra step.

Drawings/data required from you for a feasibility check:

  • Target outline dimension (with tolerance class, e.g. ±0.3 mm or ±0.1 mm)

  • Mounting/cutout drawing (DXF or DWG preferred) showing the exact cut boundary relative to the panel's reference corner

  • Required active area (viewable image size) and its position within the cut boundary

2. Reliability & Edge Sealing Assurance

Sealing processAfter cutting, the exposed glass edge is treated with a secondary edge-sealing process — typically UV-cure resin dispensing along the cut edge, with the dispensing path and cure profile adjusted per panel thickness — to restore moisture and liquid-crystal leakage protection at the new edge.
