Cutting Method Recommendation

  • Ultrafast laser cutting (picosecond/femtosecond) — minimal heat-affected zone, better suited to irregular shapes or applications sensitive to micro-cracking, with tighter achievable tolerances.

The final method is selected based on the target dimensions, source panel model, and the vibration/shock conditions of the end application.

Routing & Circuit Clearance

Whether the cut line interferes with the Gate/Source routing or the active TFT array is the primary factor determining feasibility. To complete an initial feasibility review, we typically request:

  • Target cutting dimensions and mounting position drawing (with tolerance requirements)

  • Desired resolution and active display area

  • Installation environment (touch requirement, bonding, metal frame mounting, etc.)

  • Reference drawings or a comparable existing product, if available

Once received, our engineering team cross-checks the cut line against the Gate/Source line and IC bonding area on the source panel, then issues a feasibility report with a preliminary structural drawing.

Edge Finishing

Sealing Process
