For projects requiring tighter dimensional tolerance, cuts close to active circuitry, or irregular/non-linear cut lines, we switch to ultrafast laser cutting (picosecond/femtosecond class), which produces a smaller heat-affected zone and lower micro-crack risk at a higher unit cost. Your project engineer will confirm which method fits your tolerance and volume requirements at quotation stage.

Trace and circuit clearanceEvery cutting line is planned against the donor panel's Gate/Source driver layout and active TFT array before tooling begins, so the cut plane does not intersect functional circuitry. Where a target dimension would encroach on the Gate/Source trace area, we will flag this during feasibility review and propose the nearest viable dimension, or recommend an alternative source panel with a more suitable native layout.

Exact NRE and sample lead time are confirmed at the feasibility/quotation stage once your target drawing is reviewed — as a general guide, mechanical-cut projects sample faster than laser-cut projects due to simpler process setup.

Expected yield at volumeYield in mass production depends on cut geometry, tolerance tightness, and proximity to active circuitry, and is confirmed after the trial run based on real process data — we do not quote a blanket number before seeing your specific dimensions. Simpler straight-line cuts on non-critical areas run at higher, more predictable yields than cuts near the Gate/Source boundary or laser cuts with tight tolerance.
