This is a 36.6" Native Stretched Bar TFT LCD module, engineered for ultra-wide, non-standard display applications such as self-service kiosks, industrial control panels, bus/rail passenger information displays, and retail shelf-edge screens.

Key point: This is a Native Stretched Bar panel — NOT a cut panel.
The circuit layout (Gate/Source routing) and TFT array are designed from the mask stage to match the final panel dimensions. There is no structural risk introduced by post-cutting processes — no edge sealing gaps, no light leakage, no crack propagation risk — making it well suited for applications where reliability is critical.

2.1 Process & Feasibility Assessment

Cutting method & circuit clearance
This SKU (P366IVN01.1) is a native stretched-bar design — the Gate/Source routing is laid out at the mask stage to match the final 36.6" dimensions. As such, questions around "does the cut line interfere with the TFT array" simply don't apply to this product.

For projects that genuinely require cutting a standard-size panel down to a custom bar shape, HITULCD's engineering team also supports this type of custom-cutting evaluation:

  • Cutting method is selected based on your tolerance requirements: mechanical wheel cutting for standard tolerances (±0.5mm or looser); ultrafast laser cutting (picosecond/femtosecond) for tight tolerances (±0.1mm or better) to minimize micro-crack risk.

  • Documentation needed for feasibility review: original panel datasheet, cut-line layout drawing, coordinates of the active area and routing zones, and final dimensional tolerance requirements.

  • Our engineering team cross-checks the proposed cut line against the original circuit diagram to confirm it clears the Gate/Source driver and array active area, and issues a feasibility report.

Edge finishing standard
Cut edges are ground and chamfered to control flatness and reduce micro-crack propagation risk, in line with standard industrial tolerances. Detailed inspection criteria can be provided alongside engineering drawings once an NDA is in place.


2.2 Reliability & Edge Sealing

Sealing process

  • Native bar panels: sealing is validated at the design stage as part of standard module assembly — no secondary sealing step is required.

  • Custom-cut panels: cut edges undergo UV dispensing plus secondary edge encapsulation to prevent moisture ingress and liquid leakage. The adhesive type is matched to your operating environment (temperature, humidity, ingress protection requirements).

Reliability testing
Backed by our CE / FCC / RoHS certification framework, our products support industrial-grade reliability testing, including:

  • Double 85 (85°C/85%RH) high-temp, high-humidity testing

  • High/low temperature thermal shock cycling

  • Structural drop testing

  • Extended burn-in testing

Optical performance
Because native bar panels involve no cutting, there is no light leakage or Mura/color shift risk at the edges by design.
