OEM/ODM Services for Bar Type LCD Modules (incl. 49.5" Ultra-Wide Series)
Full custom design, cutting, branding and manufacturing support for procurement teams, project managers, and hardware engineers building stretched-display products for the European and North American market.
What OEM/ODM Means With HituLCD
Most stretched bar display projects are not off-the-shelf purchases — they require a source panel to be engineered around your enclosure, your brightness environment, your interface, and your brand. HituLCD runs OEM/ODM as an end-to-end manufacturing service, not a customization add-on bolted onto a standard SKU:
OEM — we build to your specification: your size, your interface, your enclosure, your firmware.
ODM — we contribute our own stretched-LCD engineering (cutting method, sealing process, thermal/optical tuning) and deliver a ready-to-deploy design under your brand.
Both paths cover the 49.5" bar module and the wider 18.5"–55" stretched bar platform, including cuttable models that can be trimmed on one axis to a non-standard dimension.

Manufacturing & Engineering Capability
Automated COG/FOG bonding lines (e.g. JYD-I900E full-automatic COG series, JYD-F900E/F900A atomization bonding system) with micron-level alignment control for custom LCD module development.
In-house cutting, gluing and assembly lines covering everything from backlight modules to complete open-frame monitors — the same infrastructure used for standard products is applied to custom OEM/ODM runs, so customization does not mean a side-line process with lower control.
DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review performed before quotation: our engineering team evaluates your target dimensions, tolerances, and keep-out zones against the source panel's circuit layout before confirming feasibility.
Full technical documentation provided to support your own system integration — signal timing, mechanical drawings, and test reports as needed.

How an OEM/ODM Project Runs
Inquiry & Specification — Send target size, brightness, interface, touch requirement, enclosure needs and deployment environment.
DFM Review — Our engineering team confirms feasibility, recommends cutting method (mechanical wheel vs. laser) where applicable, and flags any circuit/keep-out constraints.
Quotation — NRE, sample lead time, expected mass-production yield, and MOQ confirmed in writing before any deposit is requested.
Sampling — First-article units produced and tested against agreed acceptance criteria (sample fee applies, typically refundable on qualifying orders).
Pilot Run — Small-batch production for field validation in your actual enclosure/environment.
Mass Production — Scaled manufacturing with lot-level QC and shipment scheduling confirmed in advance.
Lead Time Reference
| Order Type | Typical Lead Time |
|---|---|
| Standard product | 2–3 weeks |
| Custom OEM/ODM order | 4–6 weeks |
| Bulk order (500+ units) | 6–8 weeks |
Exact lead time and MOQ are confirmed per project once specification and cutting method are finalized.
Why Engineering & Procurement Teams Work With HituLCD
Engineering-first, not sales-first — DFM review and technical documentation come before commercial terms, not after.
One factory, full process ownership — cutting, sealing, bonding, touch integration, housing assembly and reliability testing are all performed in-house, reducing the coordination risk of multi-vendor supply chains.
Built for EU/US commercial deployment — certifications, documentation, and communication practices are structured around what international OEM customers and system integrators expect, including terms confirmed in writing before deposit.
Supply continuity — long-lifecycle backlight components and multi-year support reduce exposure to consumer panel market volatility mid-program.

Why Engineering Teams and Procurement Managers Choose This Module
True cuttable/stretched engineering, not a repackaged standard panel — HituLCD's process is built specifically around trimming source panels to non-standard bar dimensions while preserving electrical and optical integrity.
Engineering-led communication for international OEM customers: DFM review, drawings, and test data are provided before commitment, not after.
Reliability-first approach: sealing, environmental testing and optical validation are standard steps in the cutting workflow, not optional add-ons.
Supply continuity: multi-year lifecycle support so integrators are not exposed to the volatility of the consumer panel market mid-program.
Engineering FAQ for Technical Evaluation
The questions below reflect what our overseas engineering and procurement partners typically need answered before issuing an RFQ. Use this section as a technical brief, and share your target dimensions/tolerances so our engineering team can return a project-specific answer within 24 hours.
1. Cutting Process & Feasibility
Q: What cutting method do you recommend for our target size and tolerance?Recommendation depends on the required tolerance band and edge quality: mechanical wheel scribing is used for standard tolerances and cost-sensitive volume orders, while ultra-fast laser cutting is used where tighter tolerances, minimal micro-cracking, or cuts close to active circuit areas are required. Our engineering team will recommend the method after reviewing your target dimensions.
Q: Will the cut line interfere with the Gate/Source traces or TFT array of the source panel? This is confirmed during our pre-project DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review. To evaluate feasibility, we typically request:
Target cut dimensions and required tolerance
Preferred mounting/viewing orientation
Any keep-out zones dictated by your enclosure design Our team cross-references these against the source panel's Gate/Source routing and active array layout before confirming feasibility.
Q: What is your standard for edge flatness and micro-crack control after cutting?Cut edges are inspected against defined flatness and micro-crack tolerance limits as part of our standard QC step before any unit proceeds to sealing. Project-specific acceptance criteria (e.g., consumer-grade vs. industrial-grade) can be documented in the quotation.
2. Reliability & Edge Sealing
Q: How do you prevent liquid leakage and moisture ingress at the cut edge?Cut edges go through a secondary sealing process — UV dispensing/sealant application is the standard method — engineered specifically to seal the exposed edge against liquid crystal leakage and moisture ingress.
Q: Can the cut module pass standard reliability testing, and do you have benchmark data from similar projects?Cut modules are validated against consumer-grade or industrial-grade reliability standards depending on the application (please specify your target grade). Testing typically includes double-85 (85°C/85%RH) high-temperature/humidity testing, thermal shock (hot/cold cycling), and structural drop testing. Benchmark data from comparable cutting projects is available on request under NDA.
Q: Does the sealed edge introduce light leakage or Mura (color shift) near the border?Edge-zone optical performance (light leakage, Mura, color shift) is checked as part of post-sealing QC. Where a project has tight visual requirements near the cut edge, we recommend specifying this in the RFQ so we can confirm expected performance ahead of sampling.
3. Cost, Yield & Lead Time
Q: What is the NRE cost to start a custom cutting project, and how long does first sampling take?NRE and first-sample lead time depend on target size, cutting method, and tooling requirements. As a general reference, first samples (commonly ~20 pcs) typically take [X–X weeks] from confirmed specification — exact figures are provided in your project quotation once dimensions and tolerances are confirmed.
Q: What yield should we expect at mass production, and what is your MOQ?Expected mass-production yield and MOQ vary by cut size, tolerance requirements and cutting method, and are confirmed once your specification is finalized during the DFM stage. Our engineering team will share realistic yield expectations and MOQ terms in writing on the formal quotation — before any deposit is requested.
