OEM/ODM Solution Portfolio & Vertical Case Experience — HITULCD

Prepared for: Brand owners, system integrators, and equipment OEMs sourcing display sub-systems for retail, transportation, industrial, medical, and outdoor equipment programsSupplier: HITULCD (Shenzhen Hantu Jiashi Technology Co., Ltd.) — founded 2014, 38+ export markets, 120,000+ units/year capacity

Why This Matters to You

Most display-integration programs don't fail because of one bad panel — they fail because the project needs three or four different display form factors (a standard panel here, a stretched bar there, an outdoor-brightness unit somewhere else) and the buyer ends up managing three or four suppliers, three or four qualification cycles, and three or four warranty policies.

HITULCD is built to remove that fragmentation. One engineering team, one factory, one quality system — covering the full range of display types a multi-SKU product line or a multi-site deployment typically needs.

1. Who We Build For

Customer typeWhat they're usually solving
Retail equipment OEMs (vending, shelf-edge, POS, self-checkout)Need slim, narrow-form displays that fit existing mechanical housings without a full chassis redesign
Transportation & fleet integrators (bus, metro, airport)Need wide-aspect, high-brightness, vibration- and temperature-rated displays for route/passenger information
Industrial automation & HMI buildersNeed embedded, ruggedized panels rated for 24/7 duty cycles and harsh electrical environments
Outdoor signage & advertising integratorsNeed sunlight-readable, weatherproofed modules for storefronts, kiosks, and freestanding signage
Gas station & fuel-retail equipment makersNeed explosion-adjacent-rated, high-brightness pump-top and forecourt displays
Medical device OEMsNeed long-lifecycle, stable-supply displays that won't be discontinued mid-certification-cycle

If your product line touches more than one of these categories, you likely need more than one display type — which is exactly where a single-source manufacturer removes the most friction.

2. The Portfolio: One Source, Multiple Integrated Solutions

Rather than a single product, HITULCD maintains a full display portfolio engineered to be specified, qualified, and supported under one roof:

  • Industrial High-Brightness Display Kits (5.5"–98") — from embedded HMI panels up to large-format kits at 350–3,000 nits, covering indoor, semi-outdoor, and full-sunlight applications

  • Stretched Bar Displays — ultra-wide, narrow-form panels (including cuttable/trim-to-dimension options) for shelf-edge, elevator, and transit signage

  • Open Frame Monitors — embeddable displays for kiosks, self-service terminals, and control panels

  • Digital Window & Outdoor Displays — high-brightness, weatherproof units for storefront and freestanding outdoor signage

  • OLED / E-paper / Touch Solutions — for projects needing alternative display technologies or integrated touch input

Each line shares the same certification base (CE, FCC, RoHS, ISO 9001, with UL / IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 / REACH / WEEE available), so a multi-display program can be qualified once against a consistent supplier quality system rather than once per vendor.

3. What "Integrated Solution" Actually Means Here

A display OEM/ODM partner is only as useful as what happens between the glass and your enclosure. HITULCD's in-house process covers:

  • Core LCD module production — automated COG/FOG bonding with micron-level alignment (JYD-I900E COG line, JYD-F900E/F900A bonding system)

  • Structural & assembly integration — automated cutting, gluing, and lamination lines (GH-1111 fiber laser cutting, OC-1200A glass cutting) supporting everything from backlight rework to full open-frame monitor assembly

  • Electrical & mechanical customization — brightness, resolution, interface (HDMI/LVDS/eDP/VGA), touch overlay, connector, and enclosure adaptation

  • Reliability & QA — dimensional inspection, high/low-temperature and humidity chamber testing, aging tests, and full visual inspection across an 11-stage documented production process

  • Branding & private label — logo branding and private-label packaging for OEM re-branding programs

This means a request that would normally require coordinating a panel supplier, a bonding house, an assembly shop, and a test lab separately can instead move through a single specification-to-production path.

4. Case Experience Across Verticals

HITULCD's display platforms are already deployed across the customer categories above:

  • Smart Retail — stretched bar displays mounted along shelf rails in supermarkets, convenience stores, and pharmacies for real-time pricing and promotions; floor information bar installations for retail navigation

  • Transportation — ultra-wide stretched bar displays for bus and metro passenger information systems, engineered for continuous duty and vibration exposure

  • Outdoor Advertising — high-brightness window and freestanding digital signage rated for direct sunlight and 24/7 operation

  • Industrial Automation — embedded HMI-class panels for automation systems and industrial control terminals

  • Gas Station Terminals — high-brightness forecourt and pump-integrated display modules

  • Medical Equipment — display modules selected for long lifecycle stability to support extended device certification cycles

This cross-vertical experience means the qualification questions your industry raises — vibration, sunlight readability, certification, long-term supply — have typically already been solved once before, on a comparable program.

Standard lead time2–3 weeks; 4–6 weeks for custom programs

6. Getting Started

Because most OEM/ODM programs span more than one display type, the fastest path to a workable proposal is a short capability call covering:

  1. Which display categories your product line currently needs (embedded HMI, stretched bar, outdoor signage, etc.)

  2. Target certifications and end markets

  3. Expected annual volume per SKU

  4. Any existing enclosure or mechanical constraints

From there, our engineering team can map your requirements against the existing portfolio and flag where a standard configuration already fits versus where custom development is needed.

Custom-Cut & Stretched Bar LCD Module Capability Brief

Technical & Commercial Reference for OEM / Industrial Buyers

Prepared for: Sourcing Engineers, Project Managers & Procurement Leads evaluating non-standard aspect-ratio LCD modulesReference product: S370AJ1-LE1 — 37" Native Stretched Bar LCD Module (1920×540, 1000 nits) and related cut/stretched-bar programsSupplier: HITULCD (Shenzhen Hantu Jiashi Technology Co., Ltd.)

Why This Brief Exists

Before issuing an RFQ for a custom-cut or non-standard aspect-ratio LCD, most engineering and procurement teams need the same set of answers: is the cut physically feasible, will it survive in the field, and what will it cost and how fast can it be delivered. This document answers those questions directly, organized the way a technical buyer typically evaluates a supplier.

1. Process Feasibility & Engineering Assessment

Cutting method — mechanical wheel-scribe vs. ultra-fast laserFor panels where the cut line falls outside the active array and does not cross dense TFT routing, mechanical wheel-scribe (score-and-break) cutting is the more cost-effective option and is our default for standard bar/stretched formats. For cuts that pass close to the Gate/Source driver area, narrow bezel targets, or where micro-crack risk must be minimized, we recommend ultra-fast (picosecond/femtosecond-class) laser cutting instead, since it produces a cleaner edge with lower mechanical stress. The final recommendation is confirmed per-project after we review your target dimensions against the donor panel's cell layout.

Circuit and routing clearanceBefore quoting, we map your requested cut dimensions against the original panel's Gate/Source line layout and TFT array boundary to confirm the cut will not intersect active circuitry. To run this check, we typically need from you:

  • Target outer dimension, active area (A.A.), and tolerance

  • Reference panel model (if based on an existing standard panel) or target resolution/aspect ratio

  • Mounting orientation and any keep-out zones from your enclosure design

  • Interface requirement (LVDS/HDMI/eDP) so we can confirm the FPC/connector position survives the cut

Edge quality standardPost-cut edges are inspected for flatness and micro-crack propagation under standard incoming quality control before sealing. Edge chipping and crack length are held to limits consistent with the reliability testing described below — panels outside tolerance are rejected before proceeding to sealing, so defects are not carried into the sealed module.

2. Reliability & Edge-Sealing Assurance

Sealing processCut edges are treated with a secondary UV-cure adhesive dispensing process to re-establish the moisture and liquid-crystal containment that the original panel edge provided. Dispensing parameters (bead width, cure profile) are adjusted to the specific cut geometry and panel thickness of each project.

Reliability testingCut and sealed modules go through the same reliability program as our standard modules, scaled to consumer-grade or industrial-grade requirements depending on your end application:

  • Temperature/humidity (e.g. 85°C/85%RH double-85 test)

  • High/low temperature storage and operating cycling

  • Thermal shock cycling

  • Structural drop testing

We can share test summaries from comparable prior cutting programs during the technical review stage so you can benchmark against your own qualification requirements before committing to tooling.

Optical performance after sealingThe main optical risks after cutting are light leakage along the sealed edge and localized Mura/color shift near the cut line. These are controlled through the sealing bead placement and a post-seal optical inspection pass; any unit showing visible leakage or shift outside spec is screened out before packing, and is something we report on in first-sample (T0) evaluation.

3. Cost, Yield & Lead Time

NRE and first-sample costNon-recurring engineering cost for a custom cutting program depends on cut complexity, tooling/fixture requirements, and whether laser or mechanical cutting is used — this is quoted per project once the panel and dimensions are confirmed. As a reference point, a first-sample run of 20 pieces is a realistic small-batch quantity for engineering validation, with turnaround discussed at quotation stage alongside the NRE.

Expected yield and MOQ at volumeYield on custom-cut programs is generally lower than on native (uncut) panels immediately after process qualification, and improves as cutting/sealing parameters are tuned across the first production runs — expect this to be quoted as a range rather than a single number until your specific geometry has been trialed. Standard-spec MOQ for our stretched bar products starts at 1 unit; custom cutting, brightness, or bezel changes shift the MOQ, which is confirmed at the quotation stage rather than fixed in advance.

Reference lead times (standard programs, for context)

StageTypical timeframe
Standard-spec lead time2–3 weeks
Custom program lead time4–6 weeks
Production capacity12,000+ units/month
Product warranty12 months, with engineering support
