3.1 Cutting Process & Design Feasibility
Cutting method: Depending on the target dimension, tolerance, and glass thickness, we select between mechanical wheel-scribe cutting and ultra-fast (cold) laser cutting. Laser cutting is generally recommended for tighter tolerances and reduced micro-crack risk near the cut line; mechanical cutting is used where cost and standard tolerances are the priority.
