Any Size. Any Aspect Ratio. Cut, Sealed, Tested and Delivered as a Ready-to-Integrate Display.
Standard 16:9 panels don't fit every shelf, façade, vehicle or cabinet. We turn mainstream TFT-LCD open-cell panels into custom stretched bar displays, sized to your drawing, and supply them as bare modules or complete kits with driver boards, cables and mechanical parts.
Send Us Your Drawing · Request a Feasibility Report · Get Samples from 20 pcs
Your Size Is Our Starting Point
Whatever the aspect ratio or dimension your project calls for, our engineers evaluate it against the widest range of source panels and cutting options available. From compact under-shelf strips to meter-wide façade bars, we build to your outline, not the other way around.
| Format Range | Typical Aspect Ratios | Typical Use Cases |
|---|---|---|
| Compact bars (approx. 10"–24") | 8:3, 12:3, 16:4.5 | Shelf-edge labels, instrument strips, automotive and transit displays |
| Mid-size bars (approx. 24"–43") | 16:6, 24:9, 32:9 | Retail counters, vending and kiosk fronts, control-panel status bars |
| Large bars (approx. 43"–65") | 32:9, 36:9, 48:9 | Window and ceiling signage, transit platforms, menu boards |
| Extra-large bars (65" and above) | 48:9 and beyond | Façade strips, stadium and mall banners, multi-screen video walls |
| Fully custom | Your specification | Any outline within the limits of available source panels |
Reference project: HT495HBM — 49.5" (cut from a 55" open cell), 1920×540, up to 1000 nits, IPS, HDMI/VGA control board. View product details
Final achievable dimensions depend on the source panel's active area, driver layout and border structure. Every request receives a written feasibility review before any sample is built.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you really cut to any size?We can cut to virtually any bar format that fits within the source panel's active area and border structure. Each request is checked against panel layout, and we report clearly what is and isn't achievable before you commit.
Will cutting affect image quality or lifespan? When the cut-line is planned outside the TFT array and the edge is properly sealed, image quality is unaffected. Reliability testing on cut modules confirms long-term stability.
Do you offer complete kits or only bare panels? Both. We supply bare LCM modules or complete kits with driver boards, cables, power adapters, brackets and firmware.
How do you keep supply stable for long-term programs? We work with multiple mainstream open-cell suppliers and can agree on last-time-buy and stock-holding arrangements for long-lifecycle projects.
Can you protect our design?Yes. We sign an NDA before receiving drawings, and custom outlines are supplied exclusively to you.
Where do you ship?Worldwide, with experience shipping to Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

Custom Cutting: Technical Feasibility, Reliability & Project Terms
Cutting a standard TFT panel into a non-standard size is a controlled engineering process. We share the key points procurement and engineering teams ask about most, so your team can evaluate feasibility early.
1. Cutting Process & Feasibility Review
Which cutting method do you use?We select the method per project based on glass thickness, tolerance and edge requirement:
| Method | Best For | Typical Tolerance |
|---|---|---|
| Mechanical wheel cutting (scribe & break) | Cost-efficient volume production, standard bar formats | ±0.2 mm |
| Ultra-fast laser cutting | Tight tolerance, low chipping, narrow borders | ±0.1 mm |
Will the cut interfere with Gate/Source lines or the TFT array?Every project starts with a layout feasibility review against the original panel's design. The cut line is placed in the non-active margin, outside the TFT array, gate/source fan-out and driver-IC areas. Cutting is only approved when the required safety clearance from the array boundary is met.
Information we need from you for a feasibility check:
Target size, aspect ratio and outline drawing (DWG/DXF/STEP/PDF)
Preferred resolution and interface (LVDS / eDP / HDMI board)
Bezel and mounting requirements, target brightness
Operating environment (temperature, humidity, indoor/outdoor, 24/7 or not)
Annual volume forecast and target start-of-production date
We reply with a feasibility report and cut-line drawing for your sign-off before any sample is built.
What edge quality standard applies?Cut edges are inspected under magnification against internal standards. Typical acceptance targets:
Edge chipping: ≤ 0.2 mm (not extending into the seal or active area)
No visible micro-cracks propagating toward the seal line
Edge flatness and perpendicularity checked by sampling per lot (AQL-based)
2. Sealing & Reliability Assurance
How are cut edges sealed against moisture and liquid crystal leakage? After cutting, exposed cell edges are sealed using a secondary sealing process with UV-curable sealant (dispensed and cured under controlled conditions), then inspected for continuity, coverage and cure quality. Sealant is selected for low moisture permeability and compatibility with polarizers and the panel's cell materials.
Which reliability tests are performed? Our standard validation plan for cut modules follows common industrial practice. Typical test items:
| Test | Typical Condition | Pass Criteria |
|---|---|---|
| High temperature operation | 50 °C, 240 h | No functional or visual defect |
| Low temperature operation | 0 °C, 240 h | No functional or visual defect |
| High temp. / high humidity | 60 °C / 90% RH, 240 h (extended tests up to 85 °C / 85% RH available on request) | No leakage, delamination or Mura |
| High temperature storage | 70 °C, 240 h | No degradation |
| Low temperature storage | –20 °C, 240 h | No degradation |
| Thermal shock | –20 °C ↔ 70 °C, 100 cycles | No cracks, leakage or seal failure |
| Vibration | Packaged and unpackaged, per IEC 60068-2-6 | Pass |
| Drop test (packaged) | Per ISTA 2A / ISTA 3A | Pass |
Test reports and benchmark data from comparable cut-panel projects are available under NDA on request.
Will edge light leakage or color shift appear after cutting?Edge light leakage and Mura are controlled through backlight/bezel design (light-blocking tape and frame gap optimization) and 100% optical inspection at edge zones. Our final-inspection standards include uniformity, edge-brightness and color-shift checks, with golden-sample and limit-sample references agreed with you in writing.
3. Cost, Yield & Lead Time
