OEM/ODM Display Manufacturing — What We Actually Build For You
We Build the Display Your Project Actually Needs — Not the Closest Catalog Match
Off-the-shelf displays are built for someone else's spec. When your project has non-standard dimensions, a specific brightness/temperature envelope, a legacy chassis you have to fit into, or a brand you need on the bezel — that's an OEM/ODM job, and it's what we do every day.
Founded in 2014, shipping to 38+ export markets, with 120,000+ units/year of production capacity. This page explains exactly what we can do for you, at what stage of your project, and what we need from you to start.
[Request a Quote →] | [Explore Standard Products →]
Two Ways to Work With Us
ODM — Full Design-to-Production
You bring the requirement (dimensions, environment, use case); we handle the rest — mechanical design, LCD sourcing/bonding, backlight and driver board selection, enclosure design, and mass production. Best fit if you don't have an existing display design and need one engineered from scratch.
OEM — Re-Branding & Modification of Existing Designs
You already have a working design (yours or one of our standard platforms) and need it re-branded, resized, or electrically modified — different interface, different bezel color, your logo, region-specific certification. We adapt an existing, proven design rather than starting from zero, which is faster and lower-risk.
Not sure which one fits your project? Tell us what you already have (a spec sheet, a competitor unit, a rough sketch) and we'll tell you honestly which path is faster and cheaper.
What We Can Actually Do — By Service Line
1. LCD Module & Bonding (COG/FOG)
Automated COG/FOG bonding lines (JYD-I900E full-automatic COG series, JYD-F900E/F900A atomization bonding system) with micron-level alignment control. This is the step where the driver IC is attached to the glass — precision here determines whether your custom-sized or custom-shaped panel actually works reliably in the field, not just on day one.
2. Structural & Mechanical Customization
Laser cutting (GH-1111, 7.5kW fiber laser) — for panel resizing and shaping where edge burr control and consistency matter
OC glass precision cutting (OC-1200A) — for cover-glass sizing that has to align cleanly with the bonding step downstream
Laser marking/micro-processing (LS-900Pro)
Automated lamination & gluing lines for backlight modules through complete open-frame monitor assembly
Automatic SMT mounting (PT-A12-B) for driver board and interface board population
3. Reliability Testing & Quality Assurance
Every OEM/ODM project goes through dimensional inspection, environmental simulation, and aging testing before it ships — not just the first article, but as an ongoing QC gate in mass production:
High/low temperature & humidity test chambers (HYC-TH-80DH)
2D measuring instruments for dimensional verification
Microscope & visual inspection systems for bonding quality
ACF lamination verification (F6-AS120) for 100% stable circuit connection
4. Full Production Transparency
Our process runs 11 documented stages from raw cell to finished unit: cell feeding → vacuum bonding → ACF attachment → IC alignment & pre-bonding → FOG electrical test → FPC main bonding → FPC alignment & pre-bonding → IC main bonding → ITO encapsulation → high-temp adhesive & label attachment → visual inspection. Manufactured in an ISO 14644-1 certified cleanroom. We can walk your quality team through this process on a video call or provide process documentation for your supplier audit.
What Engineers Ask Us First
"Can you cut/resize an existing panel to my dimensions without hitting the Gate/Source lines?"Send us your target outline, tolerance requirement, and — if you have it — the source panel's active-area (AA) boundary or COF bonding position. Our laser cutting process (GH-1111) is built for tight-tolerance work near the active area; we'll return a feasibility assessment before you commit to tooling.
"How do you seal the cut edge against moisture?"[Confirm your actual sealing method here — e.g., UV-cure dispensing at the cut edge — this is currently on the product page draft but not stated on the OEM/ODM page; buyers evaluating your capability will look for it here too.]
"Will a custom-cut or custom-sized panel pass the same reliability tests as your standard products?"Yes — every project goes through our environmental test chambers (high/low temp & humidity) and dimensional/visual inspection regardless of whether it's standard or custom. [Add specific test standards/durations if you want to state them, e.g. IEC 60068 references, 85/85 damp heat hours, thermal shock cycle count.]
"What do you need from us to quote NRE and lead time?"
Target dimensions + tolerance
Brightness, resolution, and interface requirements (HDMI/DP/VGA, touch or non-touch)
Target working environment (indoor/semi-outdoor/outdoor, temperature range)
Approximate annual volume
Any existing reference design, competitor unit, or drawing you can share
[State actual typical NRE range and sample lead time here once confirmed — even a range like "NRE typically quoted after feasibility review; first-article samples in 3–5 weeks depending on complexity" is more useful to an engineer than no number at all.]
Certifications & Compliance
CE (EU Conformity) — valid through Dec 2027
FCC (US) — valid through Dec 2027
RoHS — valid through Dec 2027
ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, IATF 16949:2016
UL Certification, REACH Compliance, WEEE Directive
For OEM/ODM projects, certification strategy is part of the engineering conversation, not an afterthought — tell us your target market early (EU, US, UK, etc.) and we'll flag which certifications your specific design will need, and which ones we can carry over from our base platform vs. which require new testing.
[Add: does UKCA apply / is it available for UK-bound projects? Does the EU Ecodesign/ErP energy-labeling requirement apply to the display categories you OEM? These come up specifically in OEM conversations because the certification often has to be issued under the client's brand, not just HITULCD's.]
Facility & Capacity
Founded: 2014 — 12+ years in industrial/high-brightness display manufacturing
Export markets: 38+
Annual capacity: 120,000+ units
Manufacturing environment: ISO 14644-1 certified cleanroom production lines
Photos of our reception area, cleanroom lines, and assembly stations are on the site — [consider adding a short facility walkthrough video or virtual factory tour link here; overseas buyers who can't do an in-person audit rely heavily on this before committing to an OEM relationship.]
Product Platforms Available for OEM/ODM Adaptation
If you don't need a from-zero ODM build, these existing platforms can usually be adapted faster (resized, re-branded, or interface-modified) than starting new:
| Platform | Brightness | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|
| 5.5–27" Industrial Control Displays | — | HMI panels, embedded devices, automation terminals |
| 32–55" Edge-lit LED Kits | 350–800 nits | Indoor digital signage |
| 43–86" Direct-lit LED Kits | 1000–1500 nits | Semi-outdoor use |
| 32–86" Ultra High-Brightness Kits | 2000–3000 nits | Sunlight-readable outdoor |
| Stretched Bar Displays | — | Shelf-edge, transportation, elevator, retail |
| Open Frame Monitors | — | Kiosks, self-service, control systems |
| Window/Outdoor Displays | — | Storefront windows, outdoor advertising |
| OLED / E-paper / Touch | — | Custom integrated projects |
What This Doesn't Cover Yet — Add Before Publishing
A few things overseas procurement/PM contacts will look for on an OEM/ODM page specifically, that aren't here yet:
Case studies — at least one anonymized or named example of an OEM/ODM project you've delivered (client type, what was customized, volume, region). This is the single strongest trust signal on this whole page category.
NDA/IP protection policy — OEM/ODM clients are sharing proprietary specs and sometimes branding; state upfront how you handle NDAs and design IP ownership for client-specified designs.
Typical project timeline — a simple visual: inquiry → feasibility → NRE/sample → validation → mass production, with rough week estimates per stage.
MOQ for OEM/ODM projects specifically — likely different from the 1-unit standard-product MOQ; state it (even as "confirmed at quotation, typically higher due to tooling").
Named engineering contact or team bios — the "Engineer Access" promise on your product pages is stronger if there's a face/name (like Chen Hua, mentioned in your blog byline) on this page too.

86" Wall Mounted LCD Digital Signage — Engineering-Grade, Field-Proven
Product Overview
Model HT860A-2000 is an 86" high-brightness LCD display engineered for semi-outdoor retail environments — storefront windows, canopy signage, drive-thru displays, and open-air mall installations — where a standard indoor commercial panel isn't protected enough, but a fully outdoor kiosk is overkill.
That's why this unit carries IP65 ingress protection, a 6mm tempered anti-explosion front glass, and a -30°C to 60°C storage range: it's built to sit behind a shop window or under an awning and keep running through rain, dust, and temperature swings, not just live in a climate-controlled showroom.
(This replaces the previous "Retail" framing, which listed industrial/outdoor-grade specs under a generic retail category — a mismatch that made engineers and buyers question the page's accuracy. If this SKU is truly indoor-only in some configurations, offer a second "Indoor Retail" variant with a lighter IP rating instead of reusing this spec sheet.)
At a glance:
86" 4K UHD (3840×2160), 2500 cd/m² sunlight-readable brightness
Android 9.0, T972 Cortex-A55 quad-core, 2GB RAM / 16GB storage
IP65-rated enclosure, three-level anti-theft lock, intelligent air-cooling
12-month warranty, global engineering support
Certifications & Compliance
Standard certifications: CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, ISO 9001. UL, CCC, and EAC available on request for regional deployment.
Model-specific certificate PDFs for HT860A-2000 (not just category-level certs) are available on request — useful for your internal compliance sign-off. [Link to model-specific cert package]
UKCA: [confirm status — CE alone is no longer sufficient for UK market entry post-Brexit; state whether UKCA marking/self-declaration is available]
Energy labeling / ErP (EU Ecodesign): [confirm whether this SKU has been assessed under the EU's Ecodesign requirements for electronic displays — commercial buyers importing into the EU will ask]
UL certification timeline: if UL isn't pre-certified, state the added lead time and cost for UL testing/certification here, rather than "available on demand" alone.
Engineering & Customization Capability
Many of our overseas partners aren't buying a fixed catalog SKU — they need a non-standard size, cut-down panel, or shaped display to fit an existing enclosure or architectural opening. Below is how we handle that process, answering the questions our engineering contacts ask most often.
1. Cutting Feasibility & Process
Which cutting method do you use — mechanical wheel cutting or laser cutting?[State your actual practice, e.g.: "We default to ultra-fast laser cutting for panels requiring tight tolerance (±0.3mm) or cuts near the active display area, since it produces less mechanical stress than wheel cutting. Mechanical wheel cutting is used for simple straight-line size reduction outside the active area, where cost and speed matter more than edge precision."]
Will the cut line interfere with the Gate/Source driver lines or TFT array? Before quoting feasibility, our engineering team needs the following from you:
Target outline dimensions and tolerance (±mm)
The panel's original datasheet or a reference to a compatible source panel model
If available, the Gate/Source COF (chip-on-film) bonding position and active-area (AA) boundary drawing, so we can confirm the cut path clears the driver circuitry
Your preferred bezel/mounting method (this affects how close to the AA edge we can cut safely)
We'll return a cutting feasibility assessment — including whether any COF re-routing or bonding relocation is required — within [X business days] of receiving these files.
Edge finish standard:[State your actual tolerance, e.g.: "Post-cut edge flatness is controlled to ≤0.05mm deviation, with micro-crack inspection under 10x magnification per edge segment before a panel proceeds to sealing."]
2. Sealing & Reliability
How do you prevent leakage/moisture ingress at the cut edge?[State your actual process, e.g.: "Cut edges are sealed with a two-stage UV-cure dispensing process — an inner moisture barrier bead followed by an outer structural seal — applied and cured under controlled clean-room conditions before the panel goes into environmental testing."]
Does a cut-and-sealed panel pass standard reliability testing?Yes — cut panels go through the same qualification battery as our standard SKUs before release:
85°C/85%RH damp heat (double-85 test): [state duration, e.g. 240h/500h]
Thermal shock cycling: [state cycle count and range, e.g. -30°C↔70°C, 100 cycles]
Structural drop test: [state height/orientation per relevant standard, e.g. IEC 60068-2-31]
We're glad to share benchmark data from comparable past cutting projects on request — reference this section number when you inquire so our engineering team sends the right report.
Optical performance after edge sealing:[State your control, e.g.: "Sealed edges are inspected under dark-room conditions for light leakage and Mura before shipment; panels outside our internal uniformity threshold are rejected at QC, not shipped and swapped later."]
3. Cost, Yield & Lead Time
NRE (engineering/tooling) cost for a custom cutting project:[Give a real range or say "quoted after feasibility review — depends on cut complexity and whether COF relocation is required"]
Sample lead time (first article, ~20pcs):[State real number — page currently lists 4–6 weeks for custom orders generally; confirm if cut-panel samples follow the same window or need longer]
Expected yield at mass production:[Give a realistic range based on your actual production data, e.g. "typically 92–96% for straight-edge cuts outside the AA boundary; complex or near-AA cuts are quoted case-by-case after DOE trial runs."]
Mass production MOQ for custom-cut panels:[State actual MOQ — likely higher than the standard product's MOQ of 1 unit, since custom cutting requires dedicated tooling/fixture setup]
Installation & Integration
Mounting: Wall-mounted, VESA pattern [confirm hole spacing], rated for [confirm max load] — full external dimension drawing (PDF/DXF) available for download: [link]
CAD/BIM files: available on request for project coordination — [link or "contact engineering team"]
Content management: [Describe your CMS/remote management software here — brand name, remote content push, OTA firmware updates, multi-screen scheduling. This is currently missing from the spec sheet and is one of the first things a project manager asks about.]
Interfaces: USB 2.0 ×2, HDMI IN ×2, mic in ×1, audio out ×1, SD card ×1, 8Ω 10W speakers ×2
Reliability reference: MTBF [state figure] — add this if you have the data; it's a standard line item in industrial procurement checklists.
Logistics & Ordering
| Incoterms | EXW / FOB / CIF |
| MOQ | 1 unit (standard spec) — sample units available before bulk order |
| Lead time | 2–3 weeks standard, 4–6 weeks custom, 6–8 weeks for orders ≥500pcs |
| Payment | T/T, L/C (large orders), PayPal (samples), O/A (long-term partners) |

| Spare parts / EOL policy | [add — project managers on multi-year rollouts need to know how long replacement parts stay available] |
Proven in the Field
[This section is currently missing site-wide. Add 1–3 short case studies here: client type (e.g. "European supermarket chain, 40-unit rollout"), the problem solved, and — ideally — a photo of the installed unit. This is the single highest-leverage addition for project managers, who need to justify the purchase internally and want evidence this isn't the first time you've shipped at this scale.]
